Crown & Halo Dress Hire – Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Security Deposit
A 50% security deposit is required to confirm any booking. This deposit becomes non‑refundable one month prior to the agreed hire date. The remaining balance must be paid before collection or delivery of the outfit.
2. Hire Period & Late Returns
All items must be returned on the agreed return date. Late returns will be charged at £25 per calendar day. This applies by date, not by a 24‑hour cycle.
3. Care of the Outfit & Accessories
Customers agree to take reasonable care of all hired items. Minor wear may be acceptable at our discretion, but any noticeable stains, tears, burns, makeup marks, or damage will incur a repair or cleaning fee starting from £20 depending on severity.
4. Significant Damage
Any damage that permanently affects the wearable condition of the outfit (including but not limited to rips, broken zips, unremovable stains, structural damage, or alterations) will be charged at the full replacement value of the item.
5. Loss, Theft, or Non‑Return
If an outfit or accessory is lost, stolen, or not returned within 7 days of the return date, the customer will be charged the full replacement value plus any applicable late fees.
6. Fittings & Measurements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements. Crown & Halo is not liable for fit issues caused by incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
7. Cancellations
If the customer cancels more than one month ahead of the event date, the deposit may be transferred to another booking (subject to availability). Cancellations within 30 days of the event result in full forfeiture of the deposit.
8. Liability
Crown & Halo is not responsible for any personal injury, allergic reaction, or incident occurring while wearing hired outfits or accessories.
9. Agreement
By paying the deposit, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
